Simon Vogt

Simon has skills and experience in marketing, finance, and business management, having completed a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Finance at the University of Adelaide. Simon has experience working in both the corporate sector in treasury and corporate finance and also in a family farming environment through working on his family’s property in the Mid North of South Australia.

Simon’s involvement and experience in agriculture includes both broad acre grain production and beef seed stock production. Simon also has experience in conducting feasibility studies and capital raising.

Simon works as an Agribusiness Consultant with Rural Directions Pty Ltd and works across the business with clients and industry. Simon is heavily involved with Leasing and Share farming engagements undertaken by Rural Directions Pty Ltd and is involved in the delivery of leasing and share farming Management Training courses, assisting clients to lease out their properties or attract the right share farmer, and also assisting clients looking to grow their business by taking on leasing and share farming opportunities.

Simon has recently been appointed as the State Coordinator for the More Beef from Pastures program and will fulfil this role over the next three years.

Simon is equally passionate about the grain and red meat sectors and enjoys working with clients to help them achieve their goals.
